Here is my latest drawing, at one point I really felt a connection with the Sloth as for long periods there didn’t seem to be much progress, despite the hours being put in! It was all worth it, I really liked the expression on this delightful character. Available as print from my Etsy shop.
Here is my latest drawing, available as a print from my etsy shop. I haven’t drawn a horse for a long time and simply had to draw this magnificent creature! Many hours of work and it became a labour of love in the end but it was all worth it.
As summer gives way to autumn our thoughts turn to the winter festivities ahead and dare I say it, Christmas! Last year many businesses were affected by the post strikes in the run up to Christmas and it would seem the postal service is still stretched in some areas, causing delays. With that in mind, I would encourage you to think about getting ahead of the game this year and beat the Christmas rush, especially if relying on items to be delivered by mail. Placing your orders a week or two earlier than usual could make all the difference. If you have a particular date that something is required for – consider asking the seller if it is achievable and decide whether to pay for a postal upgrade if necessary. My last date for posting before Christmas will be Friday 15th December but this could be brought forward if Royal Mail start creaking at the seams again. Be the Kingfisher and swoop in early!
After a busy few months I finished drawing this cute Indri Lemur, these primates are only found in the forests of Madagascar. Indri’s are one of the largest Lemur varieties and like many primates face a fight for survival due to habitat loss. This drawing is available as a print from my Etsy shop.
As the summer evenings slip into autumnal ones, we find our thoughts turning to Christmas once again. This year I’m pleased to announce a couple of new additions to the wrapping paper range – introducing the wolf and also sheep Christmas Wrapping paper. These are in addition to the otter, French bulldog, seal and cow designs. The sheets can be ordered from my Etsy store and each sheet includes two free gift tags of the same design.
Here is my first drawing of 2022, the white rhino which as we all know is sadly endangered. A real labour of love, started in 2021 and finally finished today. Prints are available from my Etsy shop. Drawn on A4 Bristol board using a combination of Tombow pencils and a mechanical one for the finer detail.
With the festive season fast approaching I’m very excited to announce a new range of Christmas wrapping papers featuring my designs. Continuing the theme of big cats I have finished drawing a magnificent male lion. Drawn on A4 Bristol board with graphite pencil.
So here is the latest drawing, I decided to try something different as I tend to draw furry animals. This is my first bird drawing, the elusive Kingfisher. I still hope to see one. I enjoyed drawing this character, now on to the next project, what will it be?
